Gibraltar
A tiny British territory with a dense, friendly Jewish community
Gibraltar punches far above its weight for Jewish travelers. This tiny British territory at the tip of Spain has a Jewish community dating back over 300 years, with four synagogues, kosher shops, and a community that welcomes visitors warmly. The Great Synagogue of Gibraltar is the oldest on the Iberian Peninsula. The famous Rock, with its Barbary macaques and stunning views of Africa, is an incredible backdrop.
